My Bikes Since 1991

My first tourer was a Yamaha FJ 1200,  brought new back in 1991, back in those days the FJ was one the best all round sports/tourer around, The biggest trips i did on that bike was Melbourne to the Gold Coast and Melbourne via The Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, this bike was my first taste of many years of weekend road trips. After 1997 the FJ started to pile up some massive miles so, i decided that it would best to retire the old girl and start to think of trying another brand of bike. That decision took me another 4 years to make up my mine and buy my first Triumph, a 2001 Trophy1200 and again in 6 years I piled up the touring miles. In 2008 I decided to buy my first cruiser, so I traded my Trophy in for a 2008 Triumph Speed Master. One year later I got the urge to get my first Harley Davidson, a Fat Bob. The Fat Bob was a great ride and with the heavy breather AC, Screaming Eagle Tuner and Vance and Hines pipes,  the bike was a real head turner! but the touring bug has hit me again!!! and now my weekends will on my latest bike a 2011 Harley Davidson Road King.
